BA 7 10 DEAD NITTELS ANTI NEW WAVE LIGA 7" 11.2020

Originally released in 1982, this is one of the most sought after releases of the
first wave of punk releases out of Austria. Many of the early Austrian punk bands
were already drifting into the new wave/Neue Deutsche Welle genre, lurking for
commercial success, when this group of brawlers came into the action, with hard
hitting, fast paced hardcore punk, something that has been unseen and unheard in
Austria until then. The songs of this 7" were taken from the original tapes,
remastered by Peter Cebol/T-On Studio. This single comes with a two sided insert
with the reproduction of the original lyric sheet, two stickers and a postcard.

BA 7 13 CHZPE WOMEN IN PRISON 7" 03.2021

Chuzpe, the very first Austrian punk band recorded a lot of songs that were not
released back in the days. In 1979 everything was prepared for a release of this
single here, they even had finished the cover artwork. Lack of money was maybe the
biggest reason why these songs never were pressed onto vinyl. Some months later,
Chuzpe released the 'Love Will Tear Us Apart' on GiG Records, with an artwork very
similar to the one they had made for this release, and their musical direction was
leading somewhere else, punk was dead, the '80s took over...
